Cloonamoyne fishery is situated on the North West Shore of Lough Conn and nestles in the grounds of Enniscoe House, one of the great fishing houses of Ireland. The fishery boasts a comfortable lodge on the lake shore and a small harbour which holds eight boats for hire with outboards to suit, as required. The shoreline on which the fishery is located is known as  Bog Bay which is linked to Errew Bay so on leaving the harbour you find yourself in sheltered water and many is the day that our boats have enjoyed a days fishing while boats in other locations on the lake have been unable to get out due to bad conditions. We are also fortunate in the fact that the approach to the fishery is through a locked gate on a private lane and therefore anglers are able to enjoy a days fishing without the worry of security to their vehicles and belongings.

The fishery is managed by Ian Wise, a native of the Isle of Wight, who came to Ireland in 1996 and has been guiding on the lake since 1999.  He is equally at home with single or double handed fly rods and has taught many people to cast a fly.  Ian spends most of his time guiding on the lake but is more than qualified at guiding on the local rivers and in actual fact his passion is for fly fishing for sea trout in running water.
